The Las Vegas State Tree Nursery supplies plant materials adapted to the Mojave Desert. The nursery produces more than 100,000 plants each year and has experience growing 100 different plant species. The Nursery propagates 95% of their nursery stock from seed or cuttings and grows 30% of the plant stock for sales through the Division's northern Nevada nursery, the Washoe State Tree Nursery. The nursery also provides custom-growing services.

- Tuesday and Thursday by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 702-486-5411. Please call a day in advance.
- Closed August 11 through august 16
Qualifications for the purchase of plants
The program is not intended to provide landscaping materials. The purpose of the nursery program is to provide locally adapted, affordable trees and shrubs to conserve and enhance Nevada's natural resources through conservation plantings such as:

Wildlife habitat

Mine reclamation
Wetland and riparian restoration
Woodlots

To meet these goals, purchasers must meet the following qualifications:
- Plants must be for conservation purposes such as listed above.
- Maximum purchase is 100 plants per species, depending on availability. If more than 100 of any one species are needed, ask about our contract growing services.

And remember - Help us conserve resources as well as hold nursery prices down by returning your empty growing containers to the nursery.

Directions:
From Las Vegas, take Interstate 95 North to Durango Drive exit. Turn right on Durango Drive and after approximately 1 1/2 miles; turn right on Brent to the City of Las Vegas Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. No Park fee required when going to the nursery, which is located behind the park. Drive through the park and turn left at the "Forestry Nursery" sign.
