Southern Nevada Urban Forestry grant announcement and grant package
The Nevada Division of Forestry-Urban and Community Forestry Program (NDF-U&CF) is pleased to announce the availability of two grant award programs for community forestry projects promoting sustainable urban forests through planning, planting and education. The objective of the grant program is to assist Nevada communities develop, manage and implement their urban forestry programs, increase public awareness of tree benefits, provide tree-care education, and involve citizen volunteers in urban forestry programs. These grant programs are administered by the Nevada Division of Forestry. Proposal due date: by 12:00 p.m., noon, Friday, March 5, 2004.
